I have no idea what the appeal of the Kindle is, but I despise using mine. I need the explorer mode, where I have previously organized everything into folders, but alas - it shows all 150 books at once! This app is very obnoxious; it constantly crawls into the Internet, displays annoying adverts, and makes navigating between books a miserable experience. Doesn't support fb2 or Epub, which is a shame. However, a number of gypsy-like features (dictionaries, Voice view, Bluetooth) are included. Imagine Apple's restrictive ecosystem, complete with invasive software and other features; Kindle has them all. Even without a backlight or touch screen, it works fine on my ancient LBook v3.
