With these barn doors attached to my lamp I have much better control over the lighting and the direction it goes. The doors are black, which in the world of photography means they contain light so it doesn't enter or penetrate. The doors are on a hinged frame and open and close at their own pace, so I can adjust them. Works perfectly!
