I've always wanted to try a trackball. Kensington seemed too exotic acquisition. In the 90s, I had a Logitech mouse that I liked, and so I made my choice. I must immediately stipulate that I am far from design and cads, that although I use the keyboard more than the mouse, I am not an Emakov keyboard cowboy. What did I get? This trackball made me furious 2 times. The first is when the battery runs out. After that, I was offended and did not use it for three weeks. The second - when the vertical cursor movement stopped working. Here I did not take offense, twisted it in my hands, unfastened the bottom cap and a fair amount of my scales fell out of the space under the ball. So I realized that the ball can be removed and cleaned. Well thought out and well executed. Farther. When I connected this trackball for the first time, I was offered to register. I don’t remember exactly how it happened, but I remember that it was not very convenient. In general, the idea there is to store your settings in the cloud. Trackball cowboys can and should. I looked at the settings of my native software, nothing interested me there and I deleted it. Then I was a little annoyed that the offer to install this software pops up when logging in under each user. Disabled at startup. Farther. Once I played homm2 for 3 hours and my thumb got tired. But it did not cause any animosity. Rather surprise. And finally. The wheel, clicks, horizontal and vertical scrolling - all this is good. It does not cause wild delight, but it is done well. I decided for that that if the trackball, then we should not try to seem rational, but immediately take some kind of 4d monster from Kensington. I decided that I was missing some non-LED charge indicator. Once a week I looked - it's worth recharging, or not. That the manufacturer went a little too far with the imposition of its software. Despite this, they managed to make a well-knit, worthy product. I would be proud of them.
