One thing I want to say about this bed is that it's hard. My pup loves to bite and pull him around the room. It is also a very soft and comfortable place to sleep. But unfortunately it cannot be machine washed, which is a shame. I thought it was, I put it on gentle mode in the car. But it absorbs so much water that it became difficult for the machine to turn. I had to take it out and roll it between a stack of beach towels so it was light enough to put in the dryer. I dried it on very low heat and now everything is fine.
