I bought this product to replace the original remote that came with my Vizio 5.1 wireless soundbar as that original LCD remote display /LED screen is unreadable. However, within 90 days of owning this 'new' remote, I encountered the exact same problem. The remote itself still works, you just can't see which input the soundbar is set to receive, which is the very problem I bought it to solve. I contacted the seller of this item and was told there was no guarantee and that I should try new batteries. Well I have both alkaline, nickel cadmium and lithium ion batteries and the problem persists. So I guess buy this if you need a replacement remote control. Just don't expect the screen to last very long. That's why I give two stars. The images show two angles where I just pressed the source button and you should be able to make out something in the images if the screen is working.
