Measure your children's feet
My daughter's foot size is about 4.75 inches but I bought 6-12 month old shoes for her to grow into them. You're pretty big on her right now. I think she really likes to wear them because they are not very comfortable and soft enough to walk normally. They're good enough to crawl in. If I were to buy them again I would probably just buy the right size. They're not fully running yet, so I'm not worried about them fitting properly.
