Review on 🔌 SOONWELL V Lock Mounting Plate Power Supply Splitter with 15mm Rod Clamp - Camera Battery Adapter and DC Coupler by John Brazington

I gave two stars because the mount is pretty solid and appears to be of decent quality, but the included LP-E6 (DR-E6) adapter is NOT a direct replacement for the LP-E6. I bought this pack specifically for the LP-E6 adapter. See the photo I've attached. The battery has two grooves, one on each side, the adapter has a groove on one side only. The battery pack has a square hole at the top for a locking lug, the adapter doesn't have one. I wanted this for my Blackmagic Design Micro Cinema Camera but it doesn't fit my camera even though my camera battery is LP-E6. This may work with Canon cameras using the LP-E6, but be careful if using anything else, compatibility issues may arise. I had to spend more money to get the right LP-E6 dummy adapter that works. UPDATE: I've added another start to my review (three now) because the design of this mount is very solid and fits my Kastar batteries. I'm still concerned about the LP-E6 adapter not fitting, but I have a workaround and am otherwise happy with the kit.
