I love coffee and over time I have accumulated different coffee makers for different occasions. For example, when I have time or company, I brew an elegant pour over from my Chemex. Or I use Keurig for a quick cup to take to the car. But on a dark winter morning, it's nice to just wake up to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, knowing it's staying hot in a stainless steel carafe. I can prepare this HS the evening before and in the morning I only have to pour myself a cup! The digital display is simple and elegant (blue display). It is very easy to set the current time as well as the brew timer, unlike many things these days. A "bold" attitude really makes a delicious difference when the coffee lends itself to it. The display lights up upon installation, but then dims after a while so it's not distracting. The shelf is very stylish. Absolutely not a drop from the carafe. And no noise from that car. This uses a #4 cone filter. All the coffees I've made with it are delicious. It makes a solid and well-made impression and I would buy it again. I don't like anything about him because he delivers what he promises. Well done GE!
