Ahhh. I love writing reviews for TMI, lolololAnywho. I have a few rough heels that need a lot of tender love and care. I've tried these types of "gel in socks" moisturizers before and had a love-hate relationship with them. On the one hand, they are relaxing and feel great when you put them on. On the other hand, they tend to get uncomfortable quickly and are generally uncomfortable as a nighttime treatment (at least not for me). So the good news is that they are convenient to use at night. Since your toes are fully protruding from these socks, your feet will not overheat or sweat when you sleep in them. Hooray! In addition, the gel coating in them is very durable. Some of the other gel socks I've had in the past rip when you try to walk in them (and often came with instructions not to walk in them). Kitchen or bathroom Bad. I don't feel like they "really" machine wash and that they have a very limited shelf life. Because of this, I see these socks as a "pleasure" for my feet rather than an effective treatment for my severely worn down heels. They work? Yes / Yes. By day two, my heels were definitely softer and looked noticeably better, but they obviously need more help than these socks.
