I was hesitant to buy packing cubes because I always thought they take up more space and serve no purpose. I couldn't be more wrong. I fly an average of 100,000 to 120,000 miles a year and never check my bags. Since then I have had to learn to pack as efficiently as possible. When I received the cubes, I immediately took them to test. In a beautiful zippered bag, you get a large bag, a medium bag, two small bags, a drawstring shoe bag, two toiletry bags and a laundry bag. All are double zipped and have nice breathable mesh, except for the laundry bag and shoes. I was surprised at how well everything went and how organized I was able to stay and not clutch my bag to close it. As a side note, I only use international aluminum carry-on luggage for travel, so I can't repack it as it just won't close like you can with zipped bags that stretch a little or have a few more inches to open. The very first thing that makes dice great is simply knowing where each of your clothing items is located. Underwear and socks in one, t-shirts and sleepwear in another, pants and buttons, you know. I love having a bag for my extra shoes to protect my clothes from dirt and a bag to wash things I used on the trip or possibly wet stuff for swimming. The toilet sets are made of thick plastic and hold quite a lot of items. I've attached some photos so you can see how I was able to pack and not repack my bag. The second photo showed a pair of shoes, a medium cube, a large cube, a laundry bag, and both cosmetics. The third photo was the same, but instead of shoes, two small cubes were stacked on top of each other. Finally, the fourth and fifth picture is a small cube with 6 pairs of socks and 6 pairs of men's underpants. As you can see in the picture the cube is not stretched and I could put a few more pieces of each. Overall I am very impressed and wish I had bought them sooner. Finally, I don't fold my clothes so I can only imagine how much you could fit using this method.
