These cables are SPT-2. The product title and description are full of inconsistencies. This is important when it comes to installing an in-line pull switch, which is very specific to the type of isolation some switches can use. The name and description also do not indicate the caliber of these cords. Some people say wire is 16 AWG, others say 18 AWG. All this tells me that it can only depend on the characteristics of what you order (length and color). Just to be clear, I'm ordering 2 packs of 12ft. Black wires - they were 18AWG SPT-2. Not particularly worth returning, but the lack of detail for what can be considered an electrical part is a little unacceptable to me.
