They were too big for me but perfect for my daughter and husband who have longer feet than me. I wear a size 8 1/2 but thought it should be bigger because in my experience things are smaller. I have never worn compression stockings, but have had calf pain and varicose veins for years. I wish my doctor would have advised me to wear them years ago, especially when I was pregnant. The big ones were a bit longer, knee-deep, and I had to bend them, but that made them tight. The mids were the perfect length on the feet and went up the leg and ended just below the knee. They are very comfortable and I love the colors. My pain has become much more bearable and I think this will help me recover much faster. My job requires me to be on my feet a lot and the concrete hurts my feet and legs after a few hours.
