Very stable, I like that they are wider than normal chairs and a bit higher. Due to neuropathy from disc problems in my back, I need a higher chair that I can wobble in with big, strong arms to help me stand up. So far they are very durable and mostly comfortable. The seat is a bit deep for me, so with a pillow behind the back they are actually very comfortable. Remember that they are so strong that they make them heavy. 20 pounds While handy for carrying binders, they aren't as easy to transport as the smaller chairs in this style.
