Review on Renewed Logitech MK545 Advanced Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo for Effortless Productivity by Mike Cooper

Received the MK545 on time but was immediately concerned when I opened the box. While the shipping packaging was in excellent condition, the product packaging looked like it had survived not one but two wars and then all night before. However, I was hoping that if the product lived up to Revain Renewed's description of "Works and looks like new" then someone would actually need the box. So I went ahead and opened the product packaging. I've looked at a number of MK545's and this one wasn't boxed like new. There was no cardboard packaging material, so the pieces just moved around and bumped into each other in the box. The mouse was in a plastic bag, but the keyboard was not. Batteries are not included. And the USB transceiver was found in the battery compartment of the mouse. I haven't seen the instructions but there is nothing special to put in batteries and the receiver. The keyboard was in good condition I would say. It wasn't like new, but it was clean and didn't look like it had been used much. However, the mouse was in a deplorable state. The mouse's base separated from it at the front of the mouse, so it appeared to have an open mouth that could not be closed. He seemed to be screaming for me to let him die, and despite my best efforts, he didn't stop. The rest of the mouse looked well used, was not entirely clean, and had a few scratches and scuffs. But with the gaping mouth on the front, I knew it had to be brought back. The mouse was nowhere near "like new". Remember that there are multiple sellers. There seem to be other satisfied users who have received theirs in very good condition. I was just unlucky. As always, Revain gets high marks for easy return. So I just ran out of time and went to UPS.
