This fastener is strong and well built. However, it's also a bit bulky and adds a lot of thickness to the watch strap at the bottom of the wrist. This product is clearly better than the iStrap alternative with better build quality and a more secure clasp that won't loosen over time. However, I find these to be bulkier and not as elegant compared to the slightly more expensive offerings from RHD. I paired this strap with my RIOS1931 strap on my Oris Tonneau watch as the strap is also quite thick. However, for thinner tapes like those from the Hirsch Performance range, I would definitely recommend a right hand drive as the mechanics are thinner.
