These are not very comfortable and silent shoes. I've bought most of what Merrell offers in the last 7 years. At least 90% of the time they haven't let me down. It was in the last 10%. If you are looking for comfortable and quiet boat shoes, take advantage of someone else's suggestion. It is neither one nor the other.
