Duvet Cover Review: I was very excited to try this duvet (it's basically a washable duvet with no insert). Although I did some research, this was the first one I bought for my bed. It felt soft, had a good print and looked like it would be good quality, but I never took it out of the box because it smelled. Apparently someone said it smelled and the other said it didn't smell. I am another who received a duvet cover with a strong odor. While it can remove the smell in the wash, I just don't have the time to take that risk. What is a DUVIT COVER: A duvet cover (sometimes referred to as a duvet cover) is described as two sheets sewn together with no stitching on the inside. one end but closed with a zipper, ties, buttons or the like. It's like putting a pillowcase on the pillow to protect the pillow from sweat and other things. The duvet cover does the same to protect the duvet/insert so you can wash the cover without worrying about the bulky part of the duvet called the insert. With a separate cover, you can also change the style/pattern of the cover, saving space in your linen closet by simply storing the cover away and reusing that bulky piece of bedding. A duvet cover is ideal for those who frequently change their type of bedding…. Or for kids going through different "like” stages and people with pets who want to clean their running mats regularly. The INSERT (bulky section) is the part that makes it fluffy or warm. The presence of a separate insert allows you not only to keep it clean, but also to change the desired temperature depending on the season and your personal need for warmth. You can also choose the type of filling (synthetic/feather). The INSERT usually has a corner in the corner that allows you to use duvet ties so the liner and cover stay together better. I've also seen some large pins/buttons being sold to hold them together but I don't know how well they work. You can also make your own insert out of blankets or another blanket (which is what I planned to do). It might not be the best setup, but at least you can see if you like the duvet concept. I think I read somewhere that you can use big safety pins to hold them together (another trick I wanted to use). Just be careful with the ones you choose if you decide to do this. As far as I know, the duvet cover is common in Europe. It combines top sheet and duvet/duvet. If you decide to omit the top sheet and just use the comforter, you will need to wash the cover weekly, just like the sheets. It will take longer to make the bed after you brush the sheets, but it can also be quicker for those who don't use the top sheet. The Comfort Blanket is an all-in-one with a cover/design and a sewn-in insert. together . It's better for people who don't want to bother with putting the cover on and off when washing, which can be tricky. A duvet is also fine if you like the top sheet and your temperature fluctuates throughout the night, going from sheet to sheet and duvet. While this is not complete information on duvet covers (and bedspreads) and comforters, I hope this helps. I'm no expert and I encourage you to learn more on your own to find the right bed system for you. You can look at tricks on how to put on a hat to see if it fits you. Good luck creating your bedroom!
