A simple belt that DOESN'T WORK!

I bought this belt (and another one exactly the same in a different color. It had the name Colombia on it so I thought it must be good. WRONG! First of all, it's not) easy Cut to the right length. It's a matter of trial and error. DO NOT cut too much at once or you will end up with a belt that is too short. But Deadstone is a simple mechanism that fastens a belt once it's in place and has been around for decades or more. But in this iteration it doesn't work properly. It's a simple little "bolt" that clicks into place when the end is threaded through the buckle. As the strap twists out, the bolt snaps in and tightens, and voila, the strap stays in place, just doesn't work properly, first it often slips into the end of the buckle and gets stuck there, and then a bit of a struggle . to free him. Then when someone tries to hook the bolt into the correct position on the belt, it won't stay in place. So the worst thing is that it doesn't move when you need it and it won't bend when you need it! These straps are no doubt made overseas and all now, but I expect reputable US companies to do their own quality control rather than waiting for the customer to do so. The belt is supposed to be great, but it isn't. And the problem isn't one, because I bought two (black and beige) and they're both the same (okay, maybe black is a little WORSE!
