I've obviously spent a lot of money on Raise-It products but clearly I should have bought them first. They're the perfect height - most are 5 to 6 inches tall, which would make our bed absurdly and unnecessarily tall. And while they may not be the prettiest things, they are just beautiful! The 3 inch height was all we needed to be able to squeeze a suitcase and a few larger baskets under our bed and have easy access to them, as well as elevate our bed so we could get in and out more comfortably. You certainly have no cover. on the bottom, but rather tiny rubberized "legs" that prevent slipping. Our bed is quite heavy so we don't usually have this problem, but I haven't noticed our bed moving yet. too squeaky for me And I suspect it's partly because I got a kit that didn't have rubber washers on the bottom of each piece, so when we lie down or move around in bed I suspect it causes the Pieces rubbing together and the noise is so annoying that eventually I have to get rid of them. It's sad I spent $50 on them but I could have gotten them cheaper. I installed them over the weekend and so far they seem to be pretty sturdy! Product - just wish I had bought it sooner!
