Upgrade to three stars, see below. I've tried every button on 4 different IR remotes, the buttons just aren't programmable. worked. After trying all the remotes in the house, each time the button was plugged in correctly (4 orange flashes) but the device didn't respond. The only thing that helped was turning up the volume on the soundbar. After thousands of pairings, I tried it under the covers. and it worked. Every button worked properly when I did it under the covers. Maybe someone smarter than me can explain why.
