Edit: 6 months later

This soundbar can be too loud. It is very loud at 50% volume when playing Dolby audio content. I am legally wary of putting it above 75%. The subwoofer can shake the whole room. I'm too scared to do this, but I guarantee you, if you put the subwoofer and soundbar on MAX, your eyes might vibrate out of your head. Legally, this kit should probably come with a warning label. In terms of clarity, there are 3 options for dialogue clarity. Low Medium High. No matter how loud you press the soundbar, you'll understand what's being said. I didn't notice any drop in performance when using the dialog options. Setup is easy. You must use the HEOS app. The app works like a remote control but also comes with a physical remote control. You can adjust the treble and bass in the app. There are 6 quick save macros. The remote control is elegant and IR compatible. It has multiple physical buttons to change input, power, bluetooth, dialogue and 3 preset equalizers. Music, night and cinema. The soundbar is also not compatible with your TV's remote control, allowing you to control the volume with a single remote. You can also adjust the volume using the phone's volume rocker in the app. What I really like are the visible dots on the front of the soundbar that light up or dim when you change not just the volume but all settings. I think it's great that they did it. I've done a lot of research on other soundbars. I used a Sonos Beam which I am returning. I will say that the sound quality of the panel alone is a beam and maybe better because of all the extra options. I highly recommend this product. * 6 month update * Still working great. Connected to LG CX. I've now had some audio issues using eArc, but after extensive testing I can't tell if it was the TV or this soundbar. Regardless, the problems stopped after a few updates to the TV. Speaking of which, the soundbar only updates through the HEOS app, so keep it open from time to time. To my music lovers who feel that Atmos and 7.1 won't work properly with a battered soundbar, I suggest reconsidering your decision. Granted, I've never come across a complicated $5,000 audio system before, but I'm picky when it comes to high-end electronics, and I'll tell you, there are complicated setups that give a run for their money. For a fraction of the price, you get SERIOUS sound quality and stage.
