Review on Casper Sleep Pillow Sleeping Standard by Paul Massey

Really wish this pillow was right for me but it just isn't high enough to sleeping on my side, although sleeping on my back has worked (I switch side to back all the time). I found what was delivered looked flatter than the promotional photos even a few days after opening. I liked the supportive foam feel compared to the poly fill, but be aware that this pillow is a lot heavier than you're probably used to, but not too heavy to still move around in the middle of the night as it weighs around 5 Pound. The pillow is the same thickness because it's a block of foam (vs poly fill or shredded memory foam resulting in oval shaped pillows) which I've never experienced before and ended up sleeping uncomfortably because it wasn't up the full height of the pillow was prepared. since you are essentially sleeping on a rectangle that my neck was not happy with. The smell really wasn't a problem and I have a very sensitive nose, I took it out of the liner for 24 hours before using it to air and after that you could sleep on it and after 3 days no longer really smells like a lasting one Mess. I love the concept of their foam sandwich technology, I just think the developers decided to reduce the height/thickness to keep the weight at around 5lbs which is just not enough for a side sleeper and I consider myself to be small or medium sized. Person weighing 130 pounds and 5 feet 7 inches tall. So if you have a large side bedroom I think you will find this product too shallow. I've tried using a 1" lift pad underneath and then on top, but that didn't work for me. I really think they just need a third layer on each side of the much softer foam to give it more height. I personally have no problem keeping memory foam warm and I found this pillow to be no warmer as shredded memory foam or polyethylene filler.
