After a herniated disc at L5-S1 I needed a knee pad to provide support and reduce/prevent pain. I used to have a different brand knee pad (CxxxxLxxx) but after about 4 months the CxxxxLxxx pad became so soft and collapsed so easily that it became a rolled up sweater (I'm 5ft 5in). and about 135 pounds, so I wasn't crushing the pillow with muscle or weight). So I bought this Cushion Lab knee pad to replace based on the claim that it was designed to be snug. It hasn't deteriorated in the slightest, and even when I squeeze my knees very hard, the cushion doesn't compress at all. Like the other reviewer, I noted that Cushion Lab appears to have their own proprietary memory foam, which is Oat Brown and Much denser and firmer than the normal yellow porous memory foam in ComfiLife one.
