Review on Skechers Performance Slip-On Athletic Walking Shoes for Women by Todd Calloway

I ordered these shoes in my normal size and they fit perfectly. The toe box is a bit flat so I can't wear it all day; they rubbed my toes. There are two things I absolutely hate about these shoes. First, the outsole-like grip feels like you're walking on marshmallows. It's gotten a bit better in the last few weeks, but the shoe doesn't give a good sense of support. Second, if the soles of these boots get even slightly wet, they start to squeak! The wetter they get, the louder they squeak! Here in Southern California it's very difficult to keep them dry with sprinklers running year round. I find myself trying to avoid wet spots on the sidewalks, and it's actually pretty ridiculous. I just placed an order for Easy Spirits instead. I've had my previous pair of Easy Spirits for almost two years with no problems. And with a lot of running. My husband also tried Skechers and reported the same issues. I just didn't realize I ordered the same crummy shoes until I'd worn them a couple of times so it was too late to go back.
