This belt was purchased to give a special touch to this polka dot polo shirt and to pair with the eyelet scuba skirt. The belt is well packaged in a cellophane sleeve. I did notice a slight plastic smell from the belt but that went away after a few minutes of removing the packaging. I'm 5ft 3in, 133lbs and ordered a medium size. My waist is measured about 34 inches in jeans. I have 14 extra sets of grommets so the small one could have worked but this look suits me as the entire belt has grommets.
