To scam or not to scam, that is the question

After reading all the good reviews about this contactless card, I decided to give it a try. Everything seemed to be working fine. I was calling a friend overseas and was very pleased to hear a crystal clear voice call as well as the frequent dropped calls I've experienced with Vonage or Skype. I had an hour-long talk, and when I realized at the end that my balance was the same as when I started, I tried to figure out why and how it was. Long story short, even though I did everything as instructed, my call showed up correctly on my AT&T account! and instead of the expected $1.20 (80 cents with skype or vonage) AT&T charges me $6.30. (I was lucky I didn't get too excited and started calling more people) I called the company (one of the reps was pretty rude) and got an email saying they had "escalated" my case and I would hear from them soon. A week has just passed and I still haven't heard from them.

Pros
  • πŸ“± NO COMMISSIONS & NO DEADLINE: Your prepaid calling card balance will NEVER be used up due to service charges or hidden surcharges when using the local access number provided. Don't worry about losing minutes on your card as they NEVER expire!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
