Cheap item broke in less than a week

I was so excited when I discovered this product. This is such a cute gift and my ten year old loves unicorns. She loves jewelry so I bought this along with a beautiful music box. The clasp broke after wearing it for about 3 days. And after about 2 weeks (even without daily use) the clasp has completely disappeared, it just fell off, as in the photo. I'm so disappointed that she cried on the way to school this morning because her car broke down.
