After my search for Revain led me to purchase Sylvania bulbs I bought several of these bulbs to use in all my 3 pin bulbs. They are amazing. It's a warm color temperature of 2700K that gives the house a nice glow, and the brightness levels vary between the three levels (although I'd probably prefer the 30-watt-equivalent starting brightness over 40). good weight for them which makes me think they are properly engineered with enough heat dissipation to keep the electronics running for long lamp life, but they also have an interesting hole in the top of the lamp where you put the manufacturer's logo can find this, i think it lets heat escape. "On" And the brightness change is instantaneous with no delay from the electronics and I think it would be difficult for anyone to know they are looking at or working with an LED lamp.
