This is an excellent acrylic, no stains or scratches. It comes with true pure color. When purchasing acrylic, remember that there are two main forms of acrylic: cast and extruded. If you just need a transparent piece with good optics to make a display case, you can choose the cheaper option - extruded. This is a more expensive tier. Casting is used for machining, drilling, milling, CNC, etc. It is used whenever you have a high speed drill. Extruded plastic will melt from friction and heat, producing ugly balls. Casting does not melt, it can be cut and cut with sharp edges. I bought this for CNC VCarving and it works great. Generally if you buy acrylic and it's covered in paper it's cast, if it's covered in thin blue plastic it's extruded.
