Review on Phthalate-Free Aveeno Positively Sensitive Sunscreen: Safeguard Your Skin Effectively by Christina Miller

No problems with sensitive skin, even after tanning; and does not dry out the skin

I have sensitive skin with dermatitis, especially in areas where I have done several peels to remove the scar. An all-mineral sunscreen like Aveeno works best for my sensitive skin before and after the sun, although it gives me a slight white cast. I also use Oil of Olay Complete for sensitive skin. Olay doesn't have a white cast and initially doesn't trigger a reaction in my skin. But as soon as the sun hits Olai Oil, the octinoxate reacts and gives me swelling/dermatitis where I have sensitive skin. I generally prefer Aveeno when going out in the sun without a hat. But Olai when I'm wearing a baseball cap on sensitive areas of my face. I also used another mineral sunscreen from Bare Republic. After that I saw my reflection and it was just awful - white, doughy, dry and wrinkling where I didn't even know I had any. Therefore, many mineral sunscreens artificially glue and glue your skin together, creating wrinkles. Aveeno does not. This is very good sun protection.
