Review on Purina Moist & Meaty Rise & Shine Dog Food: Bacon and Egg Flavor by Angela Anderson

My Havana cat, Cathy, only has five teeth and I thought juicy and meaty would suit her. I always buy Purina brands and had high hopes for this bacon flavored dog food. I waited until I had a little less of the other Purina dog food before I started mixing it. I open my first plastic bag and sniff it. . I have a nose almost like a dog's! Rschunimagu. Oh oh. The strange chemical smell seems to overwhelm any taste of bacon. I'm not at all surprised that my dog doesn't touch it. I also added some chicken and she ended up eating most of it. The next day I couldn't get her to eat. Because of the way it smells, I'm even suspicious of trying it. There are several dog treats that are made in the USA (my #1 requirement) and smell great. I don't understand why most plain dog foods can't smell that good.
