This is a great sensor that works very well! It has the ability to connect to datalogging, but I haven't used it. I am currently using it to monitor data in a 2002 WRX with dashboard. It takes about 30 seconds to charge and every 10,000 miles it needs to be calibrated according to the instructions. One thing it doesn't do is change color like other glowshift sensors. Keep that in mind if you think this is the case.
