We're happy to report that it does what it says on the tin! Cuts the ends of the hair without damaging the length. I wouldn't call it split ends as you assume it's just looking for split ends. However, I read the reviews before buying so I knew what I was buying. It 100% made a small haircut of my very thick blonde mane easy. Good product, I plan to use it every few months to keep my hair ends strong and soft. Assuming that's the reason for the name, split ends don't stand a chance. So yeah, okay, split enders. ha ha. Don't be intimidated, it's easy to use and well made. If you hate paying a stylist, are busy, or both, this is something you'll love to have in your beauty arsenal! ;)
