Optional: This item must use the original socket base for side markers for plug and play. I had another aftermarket side marker installed that used cables so I had to find the original part. Otherwise the installation was easy. Remove the latches on the side of the car, remove the current side marker, plug "plug and play" into your original socket, connect the extra wire from the side marker to your headlight turn signal. And you're done. I originally bought the same page marker but the clear version and believe me the smoky version is a million times cleaner. For the price and consistent function I think this is a good buy. Will come back after longer use and edit the review.
