Well I like Kate Spade and there are others. This one is very hard and I'm wondering if it's real. asked beforehand and said what it is. Maybe it's just a different material. The other day at the mall I was comparing Kate Spade to many others. others were much softer and appeared to be of higher quality. I think it's just not because of the higher price of the line. In general the bag is good and serves its purpose.
