LARGE FIRST EPILATOR - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR BEGINNERS

Great product. This is my first epilator and I had so many questions while searching and shopping that I wanted to share a few thoughts on this zero waste option as a beginner for anyone who is on the same path. This little beast is doing its job. I highly recommend. ABOUT ME: I have thick black hair from head to toe and dead white skin; After they grew to about half an inch, this guy ate them. PAIN: Yes, it hurts: as much as waxing, just a little longer. You get used to it and for me it was almost relaxing after a few uses. Legs and arms quite warm, sometimes burning. In the face and pubic area, it's a bit like lots of little jerking movements, with some heat and tingling. For me, the armpits are the most intense and "painful". PRODUCT DETAILS: It makes a sound similar to a very strong iPhone vibrating on gravel. The case and wire feel flimsy in the hand but hold up very well. PLEASE SERVICE YOURSELF AND DO NOT BUY BATTERY OPERATED. USE TIPS: I'm still learning, but I've found myself using it as an ultrasonic wand on my legs (straight up and down, perpendicular to the skin, in small slow circles) and as a razor (slow strokes along the contours of the jaw, cheeks, neck and chin) works best on the face. CONS: Requires multiple passes to remove all hair; I had a slight brittleness when the hair was cut but not pulled out, leaving an unsightly little black dot under the skin. After a tough battle with androgen secreting tumors I was looking for a magic solution to my full facial hair and facial hair and this product is my miracle find. (Note: The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because I think a slightly more expensive, more luxurious version from the same Epilady brand might be better for those on a bigger budget or with more experience.)
