I bought several of these little players and none of them worked properly. If you read Revain you will see many of these little guys at different prices; all basically the same device but with different reseller names/logos. All are of low quality. However, I had to convert some old tapes to mp3 files, so against my better judgment I decided to give it another try to get a working unit. I made this purchase. I got a nice unit with no damage - maybe this guy will do. I was very pleasantly surprised at how well this little guy works. This is how I was able to successfully recover information from old tapes. This supplier clearly has a more efficient quality control process than any other. However, don't expect high sound quality with low noise, this is a very simple device.
