From My Son - Toys for Babies and Toddlers

My son is only three months old. We gave him Morty a few weeks ago, so he was just over two months old. He loves to. He talks to him, hugs him, yells at me and my husband when we take him away from him. He's content with just wrapping it around his chest/neck and squeezing it to make sure it doesn't go anywhere. And he does all this with his fists because he hasn't learned to hold anything with that hand yet. We bought other teething toys and other stuffed animals. He likes them, but they're really big and/or heavy and/or require him to open his hand and wrap his fingers around it. So Morty is perfect because he's no taller than my son, he's light enough for my son to pick up and move Morty and my son to hold him around his body or crunchy legs and feet or horns. From time to time he even managed to break through the rings with his fists. So why deduction for 1 start? The sharp curves of the horns are long/wide which makes it difficult for my son to grab both sides of his mouth and gnaw/stick to them, so he usually just makes chewing motions along a flat side (looks like he's chewing them kiss). putting the pieces of horn in his mouth, or he just sucks on his gums and sucks on Morty's body. This leads to me having to keep an eye on my son so I can get Morty's fur out of my son's mouth from time to time, and to be a toy to a child I don't think I need to look at him while he is plays, bites and uses it. However, he loves Morty so much that we get a second one because we need to rotate it - clean one, use another and vice versa.
