I bought this robe/blanket as a gift for a beloved elderly gentleman whom I cared for twelve years before he passed away. This robe is amazingly well made. It is soft and velvety and very attractive. I chose it in a rich chocolate brown which is very pretty. What can you expect? Imagine a quality dressing gown from an expensive store; and increase this quality by 5 times. That's what you can expect from it! It's quite heavy and can make you feel too warm. The gentleman I bought this for had weakness in his limbs so unfortunately this robe was too heavy for him to use without my help. But I was always there and happy to help.
