Plug and play! - Monitors

Second camera update: The device looks the same as the main camera. The build quality isn't bad, but my block wasn't fully assembled so I had to fix it. This device is great if you have additional observation rooms or maybe you just want to capture additional views of a room. The range is a small problem. Line of sight works great at 100+ feet, but once you start putting walls in your way, things get a little choppy. If you have a large house or multiple levels this may not be for you. Overall I am happy with this device for its price. Would love to see some improvements but for a basic baby monitor it has all the features you need. Baby Monitor Kit: I have experience with Amcrest POE cameras so I was very shocked at how this device works plug and play. Literally just turn it on and it works. The menu system is similar to an old VCR, but it's easy to understand without even touching the instructions. Build quality isn't bad, but my device wasn't fully assembled. This is easy to fix. Video quality is decent for what it is, but I wish it was better. I think I read that it's 640x480, which shouldn't be in 2019. It should be at least 720p, but how do I know... The sound quality isn't bad, but could have been louder if I had to blame it. What struck me is that it has a battery indicator, which I wasn't aware of at the time of purchase, that it can be carried around the house without plugging into an outlet. The stand on the back can be flipped over to use as a belt clip or to hang anywhere. Nice gesture. Overall I'm very happy with this device for what it's worth. We'd like to see some improvements, but for a basic baby monitor, it has all the necessary features.
