My indoor cats always want to look outside, but the windowsill is very narrow and they have a hard time getting up on it. I just moved into a new house and didn't want to put some shelves in the wall. After much research this turned out to be the cheapest setup I could find. Made from PVC pipe and wire mesh I was afraid it would look very cheap but it actually looks very nice. Stainless steel wire hangs from strong suction cups, my chewing cats can't bite through (and oddly like to rub their snouts on them). BENEFITS: At the end of the day, you can simply pull the PVC pipe out of the bottom suction cups and let it hang down (or place it on the side against a window) so you can lower the blinds and close the curtains. You never have to remove the suction cups. There is nothing to screw in or out of your walls CONS: This product is made in China and has a very strong odor right out of the box. My cats didn't want anything to do with these hammocks for the first few days, but after airing them out for a while, they loved using them.
