This Dragon Touch Classic 8 digital photo frame is a good budget frame

This Dragon Touch Classic 8 digital photo frame is a good budget frame. It's very easy to set up and you can start viewing your photos right away. The app could use some tweaks to make it work better for those who add to the frame but don't own it (e.g. grandma owns the frame and grandkids send photos through the app), but overall I like this frame. After testing for a few days, I came to some pros and cons. Advantages: • Simply plug in and switch on. It will immediately walk you through some simple setup procedures. • Using the frame is quite intuitive. Very easy to use.• It's a nice simple black frame.• You can add alarms, view the date and time, and see the weather for your selected location.• You can upload photos via app, email, USB stick or SD card Add card and about some computers. • You can invite friends and family to add photos as additional photo frame users. The frame owner must accept new users in order for them to submit photos. • You can choose whether the photos should fill the screen or be displayed completely. • You can change the orientation of individual photos. The default is landscape. • You can enlarge photos by pinching and expanding them. • You can take photos directly from the app or select photos to download from your device's media library. • You can add 15 second videos. framed. • You can program the duration of the slide show and the transition of photos. • You can send photos from anywhere with internet access. • You can see which photos you have sent in the app's message area. • You can associate more than one frame with an application. Disadvantages • You cannot connect a Macintosh computer to upload photos directly from the computer to the photo frame. They are incompatible. • You cannot delete photos from the app, only from the frame. This can be useful if you have a photo frame and don't want family members to delete your photos. • The application does not prevent you from adding a photo a second time. • You can only upload nine photos at a time through the app. • The cable is only 1.20 m long and must remain plugged in for operation. • The colors of the photographs are good, except that a slight red cast is added to Caucasian skin tones. This is most noticeable in close-ups of faces. It's not bad, it just gives the photos a pink tint • Photos look slightly grainy, but that's what I expect from 1024 x 768 resolution. • In slideshow mode, you only see the photos, not the videos that have been downloaded . You must return to the main screen to access the video. • The message that new photos or videos have been added only stays on the screen for a few seconds, so you can skip new messages, especially videos. • The app says you can add captions to photos, but they don't actually appear in a frame. After weighing the pros and cons, this frame is definitely worth the money.
