Review on 🔆 Elgato Key Light Air - Professional LED Panel, 1400 Lumens, Multi-Layer Diffusion Tech, App-Controlled, Adjustable Color Temperature - Mac/Windows/iPhone/Android Compatible by Jairah Brown

I've been a game streamer for a year. I bought the Key Light Air to replace the Neewer bottom end light I was using with a softbox for true light diffusion as the combination was large and bulky and got in the way all the time. I use two key lights, one high right and one low left, to illuminate me and my green screen while streaming. This replaced the left light. Here's what I found: 1) It's SMALL. I was expecting something the same size as my previous light without the shutter and softbox. 2) Key Light Air's edge lighting and layered panel create an even, diffused and bright light that appears to come from anywhere. The spread is amazing and way better than the softbox. 3) It's bright. My previous light had 200 SMD LEDs and I used Key Light Air with the same brightness percentage. 4) Setting up the application was very convenient. Rather than "suffering" when the ambient light or the shirt I was wearing caused weird lighting issues, I can quickly adjust the light while still looking at the camera. 5) Compatible with Stream Deck to turn lights on and off, change brightness and warmth means I can sit upright while making adjustments so I don't have to move due to shadow changes. It also allows you to customize it very quickly. 6) The weighted table stand is strong, functional and low. I figured I might have to use an old base I bought to lower the light, but it works great. 7) You might as well replace all your lamps with them because eventually you will regret not buying more at the same time. Time. It annoys me that now I have to get up with the old light to work. While I wasn't thrilled about spending that much on a different light when I'm working, I'm very happy with the purchase and plan on buying a second one. I know Elgato is not the cheapest option but I am very happy with the quality of their items that I have purchased and the value they offer. After purchasing more lights, softboxes, and another stand, I saved just a few bucks compared to buying Elgato Key Light Airs in advance. I should have spent the extra money up front.
