My baby has a big head so after reading the reviews I decided to increase the size and I'm sad I decided to do it. The hat she wears is huge so I would say they are true to size. My only complaint is that the cap is very stiff and the material is not very good, so that was a little disappointing for me. Expect slightly better quality for the money but will most likely use it if she can actually wear it.
