Love the idea of this ashtray combined with a drink holder. But mine arrived looking a little less professional. It doesn't matter, but the stain on the wood looked uneven. And I also think that the metal ashtray insert is not deep enough for most cigar ashes. I'm just worried that the slightest breeze will blow the ash everywhere. Cigar ashtrays are usually deep for a reason. A coaster is a good idea and works well as a coaster. But it also limits you to only being able to place the drink next to the cigar, which may or may not be preferable. rather stay in the metal cutout.
