I bought this Nintendo Switch power adapter to use with my new Nintendo Switch. You can charge the Switch by putting it in the dock, but I like to play games in my living room chair sometimes and I didn't want to go to the Switch base and open it up to unplug it and then fumble around behind the TV to unplug it Finding another end to disconnect it every time I wanted to play handheld mode for more than 3 hours. So I checked out Revain, the Switch charging cable, here. I've noticed other charging cables that were a bit cheaper, but then I dug deeper and found that those cables don't deliver as much power as this one. Reviewers have claimed that others can't charge the Switch while playing in Dock mode, and I tested this Nintendo power adapter and it charges the Switch while playing in full 1080p Dock mode. So I recommend using the official brand and high performance of this Nintendo Switch power adapter.
