Nice design although installation is difficult.
Would NOT use 1 1/4" screws to attach brackets to roof, RV etc. Leaks may occur. But the bracket design is well thought out. Lots of research, fixed brackets to trailer's roof (3/8" thick plywood with EPDM roof) with 1" long SS screws with 1/4" hex head and 1/8" rubber washer. But used 8 brackets instead 4 on the power solar panel 100w. Used 1/8" thick cork gasket between roof and bracket. Sealed on both sides with Permatex sealant and "blue" screw lock. After 1 week of hardening, apply Dicor self-levelling sealant to all brackets with an overlap. Although screw lock is not fully installed YET.
