I really hoped this thing was real. Unfortunately someone somewhere has cut corners because you can't call it holistic. It stretches well and to the extent you would expect from a product like this. The problem arises when you want to glue it to yourself. It took me 3 tries to get it attached to a regular light cloth - it didn't even have that much tension and kept bouncing. Eventually I pressed very hard and it ended up sticking to itself, but only just - if I run my finger over it, even slightly, it pops out and completely untangles itself. be prepared to press fairly hard all the way for it to deal with itself - too hard in my opinion than you'll ever want to press on an open or bleeding wound, and if you're trying to hold a compress or gauze instead you better have a friend to help you I will not buy this product again.
