I received this cable as a "courtesy cable" to connect to the USB ports on the rear passenger console in my car. I've tried it on my Android phone and an old iPhone I have and it works great on both. I tried charging 2 phones at the same time (Android and iPhone) and it worked. Can't comment on durability as I don't use it regularly, it's only available for use in my car, but I think it will do the job it's intended for.
