No thigh stretch: my feedback
I got an XL because I have massive thighs and I'm glad I did, there is no stretch in the thighs at all. The waist band is super stretchy and honestly a bit too big for me, but like I said, there is no give around the thighs. If you're like me and have a smaller waist:thighs ratio, then I'd get a size up. Despite that, it's super comfortable, almost like pajama shorts. I love how they look too.
